The S60 SMT stencil printer is a semi-automatic precision screen and stencil printer for the highest demands in print quality. The S60 is designed for printing solder pastes, SMD adhesives, or thermal pastes. It can be used as both a screen printer and a stencil printer. The parameterization and automation of all crucial factors that determine print quality is the main advantage of the S60. The printer is therefore designed for small to medium production runs.

Like all other printers from Mechatronic, the S60 comes standard with a quick-release frame. Quick-release frames from other manufacturers, double-sided clamping systems for older stencils, or fixed frames are also compatible with the S60. The S60 is available as a desktop unit or with a stand. The S60 printer can be further enhanced with a range of accessories for special applications, such as printing on flexible PCBs or ceramic substrates, or printing on IGBT modules or power PCBs.

Simple and intuitive programming

In the standard version of the S60, programming the printing area for any PCB is done by simulating the squeegee gantry movement and saving the completed path. Therefore, no special knowledge is required to program the S60. A PC is not required for the standard version of the S60.
In the special version with the integrated automatic dispensing system, named S61-S, parameterization and programming are performed on an external PC. The S61-S version is primarily intended for printing of solder paste or thermal paste onto IGBT modules or large PCBs with integrated power modules, where high and consistent print quality is required, and where both the print results and all print parameters for each product need to be documented.
